A Wednesday session, "Customers DON'T Want Relationships," drew
an overflow crowd.
John McKean, the executive director of the Center for
Information Based Competition, who said that consumers' main
concern is to be treated with dignity. "Fifty percent of
technology dehumanizes customers," he told the crowd. "Slow down
the sequence of sophisticated selling and look at acknowledgement,
respect, and trust." |
